These were one of last summer's projects and I'm thinking I will be building another pair this summer.

For the build and comments read here http://archivedforum.beoworld.org/forums/t/40041.aspx

Cool! Yes them! Thank you!! Checking them out!

No problem! Enjoy the threads.

Since their first iteration, I have turned them active (as you may have read in the second thread) and haven't really done a proper review / evaluation of them since. But, I can tell you in short - they are a ton of fun to listen to!! The stereo effect is HUGE!

Right now I am actually building a much simpler passive filter with its own pcb to be fitted externally.

Amazing work! Definitely impressed!

I got my first system when I was 16. Today, it'd be classified as vintage, but 31 years ago it was new stuff. I traded up my turntable in the spring of 1981, but I still have (and use on a daily basis) that Philips AF-829 and my original Sansui G-4700.

A picture of the turntable (not mine): http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...6.16. 0.0.0.0.108.1500.13j3.16.0.5p_Np_nw1sk

I'm not a kid by any stretch of the imagination, but it's good to see you guys
getting into the hobby.

Nice stuff, we are all kids inside no matter what you say somewhere in you you probably act like a kid :D
