Heads up:Klipsch RP-600m are on sale at the Klipsch site,and Crutchfield for $479,about $150 off.Ive heard nothing but great things about them.Had to pick up a.pair myself.

I have a pair of RP-600m's that I run as the fronts on my surround system with a Dayton 1200 sub and a Sony STR 1080 amp. Fantastic sound. Even on their own they are superb speakers. I often listen to SACDs on this system. You'll want to put them on stands at ear height to get the best out of them.

I fell into the sale trap.
I've had the RP-600M in my bedroom system for a week and just put my ELACs back in last night (Debut B6.2).
Jury is still out. I can't say the Klipsch do anything wrong, but I also can't say they are any "better" than the ELACs. Especially since they are twice the price.
I'm going to move the Klipsch to my main system for a few days and see how they sound with better gear before trying them in the bedroom again.

Those two speakers are drastically different in design. Considering the Klipsch are rear ported and the ELAC are front ported, speaker placement would have different requirements. I have my RP-250F’s pulled a good 14” away from the rear wall in my 5 channel system. When they were my mains in my 2 channel system, I had them 18” away from the rear wall.

They aren't hammered against the wall, but they aren't out very far either. I have Magnepans that are 5' from the front wall so I understand the importance speaker placement can make.
I have literally zero placement options in the bedroom system so whatever I use has to work in that location. It's definitely a compromise setup but gets 90% of the music play. The HT system maybe gets 1%-2% of the play, the main system gets the rest.
I'm also running them in a very modest system that may not show the difference between the speakers. Hence the tryout in the main system just for grins.

Well, the RP-600M sound a lot better in my main system (in my signature). I may dare say I could live with them as my only speaker and I didn't even turn the sub-woofer on. Set up in the same place as my Magnepans, about 5' from the front wall and maybe 7' apart.
Listening to mostly classic rock and blues-based rock I would say they image very well. L/R sound extends well beyond the physical speaker placement. Center image is rock solid. Soundstage is good and I can hear instruments and voices near and far as well as up and down. The male voices I listened to sound like they should.
Female vocals and classical music will be on today's agenda. I expect good things. Maybe even turn on the sub...

I ended up moving them on.I was using them in my small listening room,and we're just overpowering,and gave me serious listener fatigue.My wife even came in and said they sounded "tinny".Thought I'd check to see how you like these new speakers?
I borrowed some from a friend to try out in my loft. After a few days I will probably be getting a pair to replace my ADS’s. In my space they just do everything a little better. The clarity and detail are the biggest difference.
I am on day 3 with them. Buddy took my ADS 710’s home, I am curious to hear what he has to say.

How do they compare to the KEF LS50? Aren't they also a bright speaker (you may have them in different rooms)?
I'm leaning toward sending them back. It's a shame since they do sound so good with my main system, but so far they aren't cutting it in the bedroom.
I may try them in the HT system, but they will have to outperform a pair of KEF 104/2.

The LS50 were bright,but detailed with a good soundstage.My issue with them was inefficientcy.Every time I really cranked it,my Power guard lights would blink.So I got seduced into trying the Klipsch.I have another speaker coming,so we will see.

I owned 104/2 new,and the LS50 falls very short,IMHO.

I run an EQ (Schiit Loki) with my big Klipsch's - it makes all the difference in the world. I just wanted a big speaker to pound out the rock and roll with high efficiency. It is amazing how hard that is to find! Maybe that would be a cheap fix for the 600m too. You can't beat Klipsch for big sounds with low power IMHO.

A little off topic, but the best high-volume speakers (as in loud music) I've heard were Klipsch Chorus II. I sold them because they never got close to that kind of playing at my place. With a big amp and a good room they did sound like a concert.

I am seriously thinking about replacing my L810s with these in a bedroom environment, and I hear they play nice with tubes. Have you anything to report regarding the contrast between the ADS and the Klipsch?
