Great designer. I've owned at least one item from each of his companies, except for Baruch-Lang.

The Advent 201, introduced in 1971 by Henry Kloss at the Advent Corporation, was the first high-fidelity Compact Cassette deck to incorporate Dolby B noise reduction (and chromium dioxide tape support).

Purchased at Harvey Radio on Nassau St in NYC in 1968…$89… still works& sounds great…KLH MODEL 21…

The first speakers I had that were not home-built by my friend were KLH512's. But that was the late 80's and well after Mr. Kloss was out of the picture. They were paired with my first separates..a DH200 and DH101.

I have 5 pairs of original Advents.

2 pair Utilities 1976

1 pair Walnut 1975, green tweeters

1 pair Walnut 1970, early pair originally bought by couple who lived down the street from the Cambridge factory.

1 pair assembled from 2 early cabinets and later woofers and tweeters.
