How far upland is this? My impression when visiting Hawaii was that astro photography was a lost cause if you were near the coast - too much haze.

It's a lighthouse (beacon). About 75 feet up from the water's edge.

Some good Port and Wine alright. Wife and I did a river cruise from Porto up the river. Every day we would stop at a small town and visit (of course) local producers.




My wife on left with the girl who went through tastings in the cellars behind.





Well worth the trip.

At Swallow Falls SP in W MD last October. This is atop the falls (which is 15' behind and left of me).

Minnesota last week, at 6 am. Air temp was 78, dew point at 75. I spent a large portion of my last 2 teenage years in SE Asia, and this was as close as it gets
