Last call for Walsh 4s....

They probably need to be refoamed, even if they are working now. That is about $300 with shipping. 450 plus 300, total of $750 which about what they are going for.

Which is why I usually recommend Walsh 2, 2XOs, and 3s. Cloth surrounds that last forever :D

3XOs on up to the 5s = 300 dollar refoaming. But hell it's worth it!

I have a set of Ohm Walsh 2's but the Walsh 4's sound a little bit more "open" with more bass. I am going to get rid of a pair as soon as my Ohm A's get redone.

I'll hear a pair of 2s someday but the 4s still rule here.

Haven't had a chance to make the trip to Brooklyn yet with the 5s. Soon..very soon though.

I am using a Kenwood KR-9050 alternating with a Marantz 2500 via an A-B switch. It is a pretty substantial amp, my Ohm 4's do not appear to be very efficient.

Wow those are a pair of brutes! Have you tried the Walsh 4s with any more recent 200-plus watt power amps?

There's a pair of Ohm F's on ebay too. They look pretty rough for the asking price of $1500 tho.
