There were/are a couple of AK'ers who have these monsters. Do an AK/google search. There are a few threads on these in the archives.
I just looked at the price. Without ever having heard a pair. I would say, that at $100 this one is a no-brainer.

Fixing the one woofer might or might not be a problem. But its a deal if you can manage to repair it. I believe the low end is a transmission line, and the whole thing ought to be pretty great.
