STUPIDITY baby!
Not if someone pays it.....
I'm bettin' against that happenin'..
If it pulls $1,000.00 I'll be very surprised !
"...........The owner described the condition of this receiver to be equal to a today's vintage 1974 Lamborghini with only 5000 miles................."
Well now.... why didn't you say that before? That makes ALL the difference......
I saw this one sell for over $350,000 the last time it went to auction. I wonder how much of that the new owner will get back.
That guy is nuts, but...... I DID see one go for $1600 on fleabay last summer. Clean, in original double box, etc.I'm bettin' against that happenin'..
If it pulls $1,000.00 I'll be very surprised !
That unit is exceptional. With the exception of the nicks on the right side of the face that this one has, that is how clean mine is. Plus he has a perfect cabinet, and the unit has been serviced. I'll bet this unit had the plastic shipping sleeve over the faceplate all these years. That's how mine stayed nice. Not that nice. And a 1974 Lambo with 5000 miles on it (probably not all that unusual actually) is going to need a recapping and some bulbs replaced too.
Here's one that's had some work done to it that's up to $1350 with over a day left
