Many years ago someone tried to give me some red-cone Stromberg-Carlson speakers. I turned them down.

If I've done anything stupider than that, I have completely blocked it from my memory.

I had a pair of those when I was about thirteen. I built some huge sealed cabinets for them out of scrap lumber and filled them with blankets. I have no idea what happened to them. They sounded pretty awesome with my older brother's Mac 1900 receiver. I would blow my friends away with Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein."

i have heard these... personally... the jensen g-610's and altec duplex speakers trumped them
