Anyone out there using the LP Gear Ortofon replacement styli? I have an OM 10 but will need to replace the stylus this year. I'm looking at the LP gear version of the 10 or 20 depending on how much spending cash I have.
They have a Vividline for $129. Look at the OM30 stylus options. You have decent equipment, why a $20 stylus? The OM series starts to get much better at OM20 and up. IMO

You have a good point. I am still a bit of a novice and I think I trick myself into believing I won't notice the difference between a $20 stylus and $120. I've gone through a Shure M75ed, AT95E and now the OM10. So far the Ortofon sounds the best to me. However by the numbers it may not be the best match compliance wise for my arm but hey if it sounds good that's where the buck stops for me.
Beside asking here. You could email or call some stylus suppliers, like Needledoctor, I'm not affiliated. Give them some info on your TT, what you play, sound voicing you want and your budget. They can recommend carts with right compliance, and what they like. Just another source. I've used them.
I have a LP Gear Vividline stylus for my Shure M91 that I like.
I was also pleasantly surprised by the $29 OM replacement from turntableneedles.com. Sounds quite smooth. Not quite as detailed as my old OM20 stylus, but still quite nice. If you want to go all the way though, Thakker still sells the OM40 stylus, which is the only Ortofon I've ever owned that tracks as well as my AT microlines.

I'm inherently cheap and it took a while to appreciate the difference between cheap cartridges/styli and the more expensive ones. You have a good turntable, receiver and speakers. Probably worth at least $1000. I would expect a system like that to have a cartridge of $200-$400. If you want to get the most out of it, step up to a better stylus or cartridge. I also like the Ortofon OM series and have owned them all from OM5 to OM40 super. I have also bought a few of the cheap $20 styli. They are good, but not even close to an OM20 or up. Do yourself a favor and save up for an upgrade. You will hear a big difference.
I gambled on a generic stylus from epay for $11 shipped. What I got was Made in Colombia generic and while it sounds decent it lacks the warmth and sound stage of the Ortofon. If it wasn't so cheap I'd probably return it but that's ok.
In the long term I'm looking at Grados, Nagaoka, The Vessel from LP gear or a Denon DL 110.
