Mac Photos - CES 2008 (Private D&M Showcase: Mandalay Bay)

There is one thing that bothers me about the MC2301, they will be too close in price to the ARC 610T, 600w reference tube amps and they are very, very good. :scratch2:

The ARC house sound, is, however, very different from the Mcintosh sound. ARC always left a certain feeling with me, that feeling being 'slow'... :)

They're good products and all, but just not my type of sound.

The AR uses a 6550C as the driver tube, eeeeerrrrrr no thanks, not my type of sound.....
 
Really a beautiful display. Thanks for taking us to the the show Rick. You the man! I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the new rack handles on the MA7000 and the new tube monos...

Is that to pay for all the returned MCD201's ? It would be nice to have more details on the MCD301 and maybe a "nudie" (an inside pic)

Btw the new tube amp looks gorgeous!

I have both on order & am told they will ship next month.

I'm just happy that he didn't get hit by all the housing stuff going on your side of the border. I'm not sure Trump will be able to pour as much concrete for a little while ;)
