Looking through some possible estate sales to hit up and I spy this pic:

Those look to me to be McIntosh ML-1C speakers and a Mac 1900 receiver? What say you? Any thoughts on the TT?

Do these pieces sometimes go for crazy low prices or do they always know how much Macs are worth and charge accordingly?

Both. Not everybody knows everything. You need to know and decide from there whether things are a bargain or not.

Interesting. I sure have never found any cheap Mac gear. Ever. And I'm always looking

I never made it to either of those sales, so the mystery of how much they went for will remain, unless a fellow AKer happened to pick them up...

I’ve gotten decent pricing on my Mac gear but never something I would remotely consider a score. The good news is that this gear continues to appreciate in value and that’s one of the huge benefits of being a Mac owner. You're generally not going to lose money. You get to own it for awhile and can replenish the audio funds if you decide to sell it.
