Wrap some nice wood around it, paint it with Hammerite and move the RCA's I'd say is
a nice touch an fine idea, but I'd leave the fuse holder and power cord where they are
just protrude them through that wood side, should look elegant "countersunk" in there,
pretty easy to drill a couple holes in the wood and no extra parts to move either then...:yes:
(depending on the wood thickness that fuse holder could be flush and not even "seen")
You remember the power button I did on the amp with the wood front panel/sides an my
"Minwax Brazilian Rosewood Oil and Hammerite it" coming through looked pretty sweet....
The way that hole on my power button sloped in turned out quite nice, do that on that side
I think would look better then even moving things to the back plus no re-solder work to boot.
(should look like a pretty clean setup done that way)
