My Marantz 2270 has a low volume hum. Any ideas?

Search this site for threads dealing with this. But in general, you should re-cap the power board, possibly replace the large filter caps, and check for leaky diodes and transistors on the power board. Try to narrow it down-does it happen in all modes, or just using the tuner or phono, for example.

Thanks for your response. It seems to happen in all modes. I've been looking high and low for a kit for the power board do you know anyone that sells them? Also, where would I find some filter caps? Thanks again, Jay
