Don't care about the price or the ad. What interests me is the 'scope image. Anyone know what would produce that?

It could be something like Jerobeam Fenderson's music, he makes music that also makes images on oscilloscopes. There are some cool videos on YouTube about it. Such an odd hobby but it is weirdly fascinating if you have 10 minutes.

Thanks! Learned something new today which more than anyone can ask for.

I watched Sam’s video and got excited, so I whipped out my 3.5mm plug to RCA converter cable and plug the cable into my 2500, and see if I can play the YouTube clip to see if the scope responds the same. Then I plugged the 3.5mm plug into my iPhone !?!? - wait , it only has the Lightning jack! Gone is the traditional mini headphone jack! **urgh** that’s innovation!!

That's why you keep your old phone for use as a music player.

While I generally approve of "innovation" at least give me options to either go wired or wireless. Give me both.
I have a pair of Sennheiser headphones that are wireless and just recently learned how convenient it is to just swipe one side of the ear pad to forward a song while walking the dog while not skipping a best walking. With a wired I have to hold the leash take out the phone, use both hands, get it out of sleep mode, change tracks and put it back into my pocket. Repeat if I don't like the next song.
But I love the sound quality of wired and never having to charge it.
