Marantz 250m lamps

Failed out of engineering, but look at me now!

Hey, so I recently aquired a 250M for a decent price online, it arrived, allegedly serviced, but with terribly dark blue LEDs installed. I want to swap back over to incandescent, or at the very least warm white LEDs, but my question is, how do you get to the bulbs in this model? I see all kinds of pictures for the 250, but none for the 250M.

Thanks

The lamp board has a little plastic clip holding it on each side that is part of the lamp housing.
You have to very very carefully pry a clip out enough to release the lamp board.
Each lamp board has 3 fuse style lamps.

Can it be accessed without having to take the whole front panel off?

Also, what voltage are they? I have some 8v ones left over from my 5020 so didn't know if I could use those.

Just have to remove top cover.
I do them while the amp modules are laid aside during a restoration which makes it easier but not impossible.

They are the same 8V fuse lamps as used in practically all Marantz units but I use warm white LEDs.
A lot of 250 and 250M meters have the brown spots in the formally white meter scale plastic because of the incandescent lamps being used I believe.
The 200 and (300ma especially) incandescents are too hot being that there are 3 of them in close proximity.
