I need to chime in on this, as this unit gave me loads of frustration and even more grey hair. I experienced the exact same issues as many here. Slow, wobly speed. Went for the pot cleaning (all 4) to no avail. Then had a shot at the capacitors. (all of the powerboard, and the small tantalums at the motorboard. Fired it up, and now it went waaay to fast. Not sure if it was speed pot related or capacitor related I put it aside for a few months. Had another run at it today and speed was still way way too fast. We're talking 50-60 rpm at 33 speed) "Mkai..need to buy new speed pots" I thought and went out for several hours, accidently leaving it "ON". Came back to do one last run of motorpot-adjustment before ordering lots of stuff. Fired it up for fun first, and now it had correct speed. Not sure what happened, but it might be that the new capacitors needed to charge to a certain level before making it work as it should? Thought this might be relevant to others, as this TT - sexy as it is - can be a real nightmare when not working as it should.
