Marantz CD6006 or Marantz CD17 KI Signature

Guys,
What would your advise be? Should I choose the Marantz CD6006 which I bought new and still love or should I choose the newly restored by me Marantz CD17 KI Signature? I just need one CD player.

You've already got them and you don't know, what chance does anyone else have of giving good advice remotely. The ki is more of a landmark, how did you restore it?
Sell them both and get a cd60.

I would keep the CD17 simply because it looks much better. Classic design, with a nice display and nice, big buttons. I hate the look and feel of modern CD players, where you need a magnifier to see the buttons and a toothpick to push them.
But that's just me. Go with whichever you like best.

Thank you both for the advice! I am also inclined to keep the KI Signature. It is really well built.
@John3655 , I replaced the optical pickup mechanism and also repaired the Open/Close button as it was not very responsive. All capacitors were OK and there were no cold solder joints (of course). By CD60 do you mean the current model (ca. 1100.- USD) or the vintage CD-60 from 1989-1991( the small brother of the CD-94 II)?

I meant the current model one on the basis it reveals extra layers that the cd6006/7 doesn't but I didn't realise it was so expensive, tariffs I guess. £649 here in the UK which should make it 871$.
Just been looking at the schematic of the cd17, with the pcm1705 DACs and hdams, very nice. No contest cd17 wins.

Ah OK. This new cd player is really good but way over my budget. Actually, I do not remember, but I must have paid good money for the CD6006 way back. I was able to find the CD17 cheap as defective.

It doesn't read SACD, if that's what you mean. For SACD you need to go much higher up the price ladder (I believe the cheapest one in their lineup is the SACD 30n, which costs three times as much, if I'm not mistaken).
It can, however, read audio files from a USB memory stick, which its ancestor couldn't. That's a nice bonus, which might come in handy one day.

Indeed, the CD60 is said to have a really good DAC.
