It's March and I'm back on Audiokarma to start our thread. My Jayhawks haven't played well this year - no bench and too many injuries. Tonight we smacked down the Kansas State Wildcats in a great game, Senior Night and our final home game at Allen Fieldhouse. Hoping we continue this energy through the Big 12 and NCAA tournaments! Rock Chalk!

Glad to see this Darcy. College hoops around here has been kind of dismal in my state. Michigan is in last place in the B1G and Sparty is in the middle of the pack. Looks like all my Kool Aid goes into the Purdue bucket...or boiler, whatever. It will be a fitting tribute to my dear friend @Scuzzer who we lost this year.

Right now I am guaranteed a win... and will be until someone else signs up. Then my chances plummet. I have only watched a couple of games this year and was soured on the local teams, except for Oakland Golden Grizzlies. They are right up the street and could be in with a win of the Horizon League Tournament, in which they have the top seed.
 
I'm in! My Villanova Wildcats are not doing well this year. They will probably have to win the Big East Tournament to even make the field.

Purdue is trying to lure me in again! Zach Edey plays his last game at Purdue's Mackey arena late this morning. He goes pro next season.
 
Well it’s getting interesting as conference titles are finishing up and tourneys begin. Kentucky took Tennessee down a notch and Houston crushed Kansas (sorry Darcy). i couldn’t be happier with UNC beating Dook for the second time this season The ACC may only have two teams making NCAA Tournament this year but the Heels sure look good.

Guess I better check my email for the annual Fantasy Bracket. I understand the winners take doubles each year ;)
 
'Nova tied Creighton with 20-some seconds left yesterday, I thought they had a shot at knocking off a top 10 team. Alas, it was not to be.
 
A couple important dates for those thinking about getting in on the Madness.

March 17 (This Sunday) is Selection Sunday. Brackets go live and you can make your picks.

March 21 Games begin and once the ball is tipped in the first game, the brackets lock and you are stuck with you picks.

I am not chasing people down this year to get in. It hurts my chances of winning.

NCAA is now the feeder to the pros. Call it what it is but it's not college basketball. Maybe NBA minor leagues but that's also G league, European ball, etc. for the folks who don't get drafted 1st or 2nd round out of "college".
