March Madness - College Basketball 2024

ACC is doing well considering they only had 5 teams in the tourney. Two in Sweet Sixteen and two more with that potential today. I have several friends who attended JMU that help fuel my hope that the JMU Dukes whomp Dook today :bowdown:

You got a pay raise last year to $1 mil. Great restaurants, no snow and a reasonable level of stress. The Florida Atlantic University Country Club.

Big pay raise to go to Michigan. Midwest food, snow and ****ing cold and a pressure cooker. Their 2 latest alum coaches left disgraced.

The adjunct professor at FAU is still correct when he said, "This class is about money, greed and avarice".
 
Had to work today and didn't want to get too wrapped up so didn't watch any of the OT, but loved seeing those Wolfies make to the16 :jump:
One of the business instructors I had is a big NC State fan and if he's still teaching I know he'll show up in all red tomorrow. I am probably much more exited about this than Duke making it.

Duke off to a great start but a lot of game left.
 
I sure didn't think Houston would do this well. They are for real. I believe they lost 4 of 5 starters throughout this season, and are still playing some tough basketball!
 
Purdue plays Gonzaga in Detroit tomorrow. I am thinking that sets up like a home game for the Boilermakers travel wise. Lots of impact on our bracket game from that one.
 
Oh No what a conundrum. :dunno: Those Wolfies and the Dookies will square off tomorrow and I want both to win. First time in 38 years for NC State gets a shot to get there. One of my 2 favorite teams will be in the final 4. :banana::banana::banana:

As a UNC purist I cannot pull for Dook! However I will be cheering on NCSU and Clemson:beerchug:

I seam to remember a similar conversation a couple of years ago about a certain final 4 game, :biggrin: still crying about that one. :rflmao: I am pleasantly surprised to see them all still in the hunt. I think of the 3 I would like to see State win the most.

I have good friends from all three schools and we enjoy trashing each other‘s team. This interaction helps us stay connected and enhances our friendship. Team rivalries are fun but the conference realignments are chiseling that away.

I hope NCSU can claim the trophy :thumbsup:
 
DVRed NCSU v Duke and just watched it. DJ Burns put on a great show again! The Wolfpack men and women’s team are heading to Final Four :thumbsup:
