Been reading up on some old threads about replacing a 2230 power switch. Are there any reputable online sources to buy a new replacement in 2022?

I just googled "marantz power switch". His listing was the first one to come up. He is an AK member, very reliable and conscientious. I've bought several items from him.

Got the switch and my wrist finally feels up to the job. The 2 don't quite match.

I am thinking orange to the top of the new switch and yellow to the bottom. Just because they line up better. Anyone know for sure?

Broke the AK commandment of Seeketh ye first via searching beforeth one asketh.

Found a Post that one should use the middle and furthest away from the plunger. My meter is broken so going with that. Unless I hear otherwise.

I believe the center contacts are switched to either the top or the bottom contacts. The hot wire from the AC input should go to the side of the switch that is NOT common otherwise when the switch is in the Off position, you will have 120VAC on the unused contacts, a shock hazard.

Was your old switch making the speakers pop when powered up like mine does?
Yes it did the pop for quite awhile. Not all the time when powering on. However it got much worse and random static and loud noises would come through the speakers during listening sessions. The repair has worked so far no more sounds or a pop.

It's not the switch that makes it pop, it's the lack of a protection relay. They all do that.
You can keep a headphone jack plugged in to reduce the pop or keep the speakers off until it's on.
My speaker button can pop worse sometimes than the power button. Got my first slight pop the other day. Glad it wasn't something I did during replacement.

I've contacted people that have the 2230 for sale on various sites and they claim that there's doesn't pop but who knows if they are being truthful.
I have the power switch in the on position and use an external switch to turn it on and off and it is much quieter when I do that. I've replaced the to coupling caps
and filter caps to 6800u and also caps on regulated PS. It pops more when I engage either speaker selector
