Marantz 2230 power switch

Hi,
I have 2230 receiver with power switch broken. Actually it works, but the plastic part is broken in half. Where i can get a replacement one and how hard is it to replace it?

I have the same problem!

a 2230 with a broken power switch - on mine the button is completely gone - hence why I was able to get it for $20 even though it works, it's just always on. I was just planning to keep my eyes open for a junk parts unit, but if there is a source for parts like that at a reasonable price, I'm all ears.

MCM sells the switch. Last i checked they cost around 2 bucks. It does not come with the chrome cap. They are not that hard to change if you know how to solder. Probably less then 1/2 hour labor.

I have used Digikey part # EG 1018 - ND on other units
Is yours broken or is the plastic shaft just to short?

It's a shaft. Switch works by itself.

Good info here. That MCM looks like the switch I got from a guy on e bay. Didn't pay a ton for it, but more than that.

Anyhow, it wan't super hard to change. Just take your time.
