Marrs up on Fraud Charges (Don't buy there!)

Read their Google reviews. This is what she looks like if you see her on the streets. she left herself a long 5 star review ha!

I scanned a letter I received by the police as an attachment, follow the link if your interested or have been defrauded by Krista.
 
After receiving emails from Krista Smith with a quote on December 26, on December 27,202 I ordered a Marantz Drive belt for $25.51 and paid by MasterCard Credit Card thru their online cart as specified on the web site for this company. Funds were immediately cleared to Marrs Communications Dec 27Th, 2020, a online receipt sent to my email account. It was supposed to be shipped and received in 7-10 business days. Email requests and phone messages for information have gone unanswered. This gal Krista Smith apparently is running this fraud, has not responded, went dark: no delivery after a month and 1/2 months. Zero replies to multiple emails, and the voice number always go to voicemail or their voicemail inbox is full. I'm now asking Mastercard for a reversal of the charge, and will push for it!!. ** This company should be investigated by the local District Attorney, FTC and USPS for mail fraud. AVOID 1 Star is generous for this fraud! This message is in regard to your complaint submitted on 2/5/2021 against Marrs Communications LLC. Your complaint was assigned ID 15178537.

I filled out the questionaire today and will mail it tomorrow. I think it is important that every AudioKarma poster who was ghosted by Krista Smith share their experience with the Harris County District Attorney. In my dealings, all communications from her stopped as soon as I asked for either a refund or she send the correct product (she sent the wrong size belt originally).

They are also being investigated by the Federal Trade Commission and the IRS. Somebody's going to jail.

Great to hear, hopefully they shut this scam business down and throw her in jail .
Terrible how this has gone from a decent business to a crime scene!!!
 
I checked the Marrs Communications website just to see if it was online. There was a message from Krista that the house had burned down on April 26th along with all the "inventory". She was working on refunds for orders placed before April 26th. She even posted some pictures.

I did a little amateur sleuthing and found some interesting inconsistencies. The mailing address listed on the website for people to send checks is 17503 Cassina Dr. Spring, TX 77388.

The pictures she posted are not from 17503 Cassina Dr. Spring, TX 77388, but are instead from 2123 Old Ox Rd, Spring, TX 77386.

The 17503 Cassina Dr. Spring, TX 77388 is also listed as the address to Purple Moon Tarot :)
