Maxell 40th Anniversary Poster

You should have received this email from Maxell informing you that they are all out of posters. I received this back on Jan. 28th.

Now they have all our info to sell to spammers.:yes:

Maybe there's a neither here nor there point where you don't get an email, but you don't get a poster either.

Like purgatory, but worse...

I called Maxell to find out if the posters were still available. There were versions of it available on the famous auction site, but pretty pricey and some complete with very expensive framing. Maxell told me they were available for sale and I ordered one for myself and one for a friend.

This is the version of the poster that I have. The lower left corner is dated 2004. I had it framed at the local "Hobby Lobby" when they were running their 50% off framing sale. :thmbsp:

I got mine yesterday, so there is hope. For those who didn't get "Lucy'd," have a little more patience. It was mailed from New Jersey.

I already have one framed, so this one is going to the family of a friend who recently passed, in memory.
 
I signed up the first day it was posted here. Poster showed up on Monday via Fed-ex ground.
 
Still nothing

I ordered mine on the first day also....Still nothing. Oh well, it did not cost me anything but some time.
 
I'm hoping the Maxell decided to print up another (limited of course) run of these and those of us in freebie purgatory will see ours. Eventually.
I figure it's in their best interest to continue to promote the brand. That being said it likely costs them $5 per to send these out.
I'm still saving the space on the wall...
