McIntosh ML-2M speakers w/MQ-101 Equalizer

A guy nearby has these, and is asking $500.00 for the package. Where should I be at in these, if I do buy them?

That's about the 101 goes for on the bay. But getting the ML-2C's up to snuff is something you should figure in also. There's 4 12'' woofers and a pair of 8'' drivers that will need refoaming if they haven't been done in the last few years. Hopefully the tweeters are ok and while they're apart the crossovers should be freshened up as well. Maybe use that as a bargaining chip.
If they have been refoamed and everything is good to go you've got yourself a good deal.
