Came across an MCS 6700 at goodwill yesterday for $70. I'm trying to put together my first proper setup and I'm wondering what opinions you guys had on this turntable.

This is a really great turntable, a personal favorite. I paired this with a Denon DL-110 and Rega Fono Mini, which sounded very nice. This deck is JC Penny's version of the Technics SL-1950, with the frame taken from...Sansui? I forget. It's a good frame, very stylish.
With a good cleaning and re-oiling, it should sound very good. I'd also suggest adding another turntable mat, which will help keep the tonearm level when playing a record. I've never used the "stacking" feature on this deck, but those things were common long ago.
