MG-BT2 replacement tweeter for CV?

Just wondering if anyone here has a Midwest speaker tweeter MG-BT2 for cerwin vega replacement tweeter and how do they sound? Looking to replace mine, they both quit in CV D9's. Thanks

I saw those myself. Though I don't have an answer have you tried searching here for tour answer? A few D9 owners have used other bullet tweeters with success.

I have a pair of tweeters from D2. If I'm not mistaken they are the same as other D series.

I belong to a Cerwin Vega forum and from what I read, the D9 uses a beefier version of the bullet tweeter then the other versions.

The MG-BT2 are listed as direct fit/replacement yet the suggested CO freq is 5KHZ. The D9's are 3,500. Don't want to change CO's, what will actually happen if I were to use them in my app? BigYank, you are correct, the D9's use a CS5 and other D's use the C5 tweeters.

My cerwin vega's have a crossover of 3500hz for tweeter. These replacements have a suggested 5khz crossover. Anyone know if there will be any noticeable difference if I were to use these? Thanks for any help
