Here is a nicely preserved set of matched Lane Acclaim tables in a St. Louis suburb for $150. It is easy to see why this line was the best selling line in the country back in the early '60s.

This is one of the best midcentury home estate sales, with the period furniture expertly matched with a classic lines house. I love the roman brick fireplace and the pass through cove from the kitchen to the dining area. What a view, and house!

The Altecs are Altec Capistranos, one of the iconic design speaks on my short list of wanna haves. They are quite distinctive, and are killers in the right sized midcentury homes. I hope someone in the Miwaukee/Chicago area could give these a nice home.

Bryan, I don't have any other Brazilia furniture, I just thought it was cool and unusual. I know the Lane Acclaim record cabinet is one of the rarest pieces in that line, it wouldn't surprise me if the same was true of Brazilia. If it was Lane Acclaim, I'd probably take you up on it.

Good to know. I have a nice Lane coffee table I have had forever. Don't know much about it but its uber cool with nice inlay on the ends and flared ends. Good stuff.
I will have to see what a lane aclaim record cabinet looks like.

The real winner in the record cabinet category would be the long, low Fisher tambour-door cabinet that matches my C800 Contemporary console. My mother has seen one, but she doesn't remember where or when.

Sam, I'll put in a request at TFA if you want. They usually run the Acclaim through for about $325, which was too rich for such an item without the matching tables. To fill an existing set, though, it's in the ballpark if you want.:thmbsp:
