It works on squares. You can do it with 9. Do 3 sets of 3 and you'll come out with the same impedance as a single. With 8 you'll have to do some odd combinations which will change the crossover point.
Two in series = 16
Two of those in parallel = 8
Two of those in series = 16
Two of those in parellel = 8
That's 8 pair, or 16 speakers, each side, 16 pair total.
Hooking them in parallel first, then series, will yield the same result.

Looks mighty nice to me!Here is an alternative for the 7W's binding posts. I had alot of fun with this mod. My layout is different and I hope its right. They sound awesome. I have two more pairs to do like this.
I found these for $27, an idea what model they are?
The appearance is a bit ratty - a few holes and tears and the finish is scratched, but the actual speakers seem to be in good shape.
They sound great hooked up to my B&O 1900 receiver, but what model are they? The badges don't show any clues.
