It was apparent after the first hour he'd win it all. So I watched something else. Really a great batter!

It's nice to have your player do well in the All Star. Gives one a sense of pride :thmbsp:

I thought it strange how they boo'd Molina when he was announced. They Boo'd Wainright too. Lol, and I love those guys.

I'd love to see Manny Machado get some time at 3rd base for the AL, but, how can one rationalize pulling Miguel Cabrera? He's brilliant in every aspect of the game. If you're trying to win a game and he's on your team, you need him in play.

Machado got a chance to dazzle at 3rd after all, and he didn't disappoint. Prince Fielder has deceptive speed for such a big man, too. Can't say enough about how Jim Leyland handled Mariano Rivera's final All Star Game appearance. Very classy. It has been a good game to watch all around this year.
Yeah it is fun to watch him regularly. He makes plays like that on an almost everyday basis. I don't see how they can ever move him to shortstop when Hardy leaves.
My O's represented themselves well out there tonight. Davis' single got Cabrera to 3rd so he could score on the sac fly, Jones doubled and scored on Hardy's fielder's choice and Machado had the defensive play of the game.

My thoughts exactly in the past few hours. Another great season is taking shape, and I'm ready for the second half of it to commence.

The Yankees/Red Sox game is in rain delay, so, we're getting the Pirates/Reds game until it starts, which I hope it doesn't. The NL game is far more intriguing to me.

Just to throw it out there, they said on last nights Cardinal broadcast that the NL vote on changing over to designated hitter BARELY failed. I hope they never adopt the DH in the NL, but it appears the change is eventually going to happen.

Here we come again! Rays, as usual, are under the radar. Now just 2 games back in the AL East. And to think they were in last place back in June.

In late June. They are on fire.

I will go out on a limb here, but if your team doesn't make the World Series, what 2 teams would you like to see make it? This question is for everyone.
Me, I would like to see Pittsburg and Baltimore. You?

Whoever gets the job done and makes into the World Series is fine with me, but, I'd like to see the Buck Showalter Orioles back in it.
