Once the excess of paint scrapped, the result on the wheels is presentable... Fortunately !
The Loco is finished - oh, I know : the cab handrails are missing... I'll adress this later !
Nest step : the tender... This time I will need to remove the old paint, the side metal labels, and respray the body...
@Lucius Mojo : any tip or advice for prepping the surface is welcome... So how did you proceeded for refinishing your nice Lionel #1668 ?

Well I cleaned the surface real well with alcohol abd allowed it to air dry then I airbrushed Tamiya Gun Metal paint .I finished it with a coat of Future floor wax.

Ok the chassis just dropped in when the body was mounted no issues there!The exhaust system fit pretty well although I had to shorten the pipes that connected the exhaust manifolds to the mufflers.

Yes it barely fit into the engine bay.Added letters and numbers abd added a roof sign that I

Lucius, I just wanted to compliment you publicly on both your modeling skills, and your train setup. Every time I see your trains it makes me REALLY want to make the time to get mine out of the boxes in the closet, before it's too late (for me that is, not the trains, they will live pretty much forever, me, on the other hand am somewhat rapidly approaching my "expiration date").

Nah too expensive to wreck or blow up!
Actually, if you watch the episodes, they really only did one wreck scene and superimposed it on any and all train episodes and nothing really gets wrecked.
