This is really a follow-up to the above. I liked the RS-6's from the beginning, but I swear they have gotten sweeter sounding. Audio psycho-acoustics drive me crazy, so I almost hate reporting this; however, my "higher end" oriented friends tell me that this is a natural breaking in of caps and even drivers to some extent.Nothing else (including the room) has changed, so there you have it. It could also be that my hearing is going away from weed eating without earplugs.
The Bi-Wiring makes a very noticeable difference, as mentioned earlier in this thread. Nice job Monitor Audio!

Thought I would update since I have had the speakers for a while now. I could not be happier with the sound from these speakers. I was so happy with the two channel setup that I went ahead and bought the center channel (RSLCR) and the surrounds (RSFX). Since MA has discontinued these speakers, I was able to find them on sale.
This allowed me to put the NHT setup in my bedroom with my Denon AVR3300 that was gathering dust.
I am very happy with both setups. I have an eD sub with my MA setup, but I have it off for two channel music for now. I may mess around with adding it, but I really like the sound of the RS6 speakers without it even if they don't hit the really deep stuff.

I agree. The RS-6 seems to nail all of the low end for music. It might lack a little for HT with thunder or earthquake ultra low freq effects, and for that kind of thing some folks prefer a subwoofer. Listening last night and tonight: these speakers really nail everything from Jack Bruce's Gibson EB-O with vintage Cream to Dave Holland's upright and skate through Stravinsky's Firebird to the Tympani and brass fanfare at the end. I think you can definitely save the Sub for "Special Effects".
