Anyone have monitor audio silver 8s.?
british speakers.

I have one of the earlier models in that line, the Silver RS8, that I bought new in 2009. They were followed by the Silver RX8, and now simply, the Silver 8. The MA website has all of the info you need. So does Google. They are fairly new, so I doubt you'd find many, if any, owners here.

The RS8 are in my main system and I'll probably never sell them. I keep bringing in vintage speakers to A/B against them. The vintage speakers always end up in another system or get sold.

I have the gold 20s and they are great.
I may have a chance to trade for some older silver 8s in blond
and wondering how they will compare with my gold 20s.
all info i can find is on new ones and they are different.

Are yours the GS20 or GR20? The Gold series was always a step up from the Silver.

I think the older ones were called Siver 8i if I recall correctly. I attached a photo and a link to a review.
