For those of you that can't hear a difference in cables,...perhaps your setup won't let you hear the difference. I hear BIG differences between cables and a change in sound with break-in.

I was one of the first monster retailers in the USA, a lady once with two hearing aids wrote and thanked me for selling it to her., sometimes it was just that their oxygen laden cable had gone green, some of the first monster had oxygen in it, it would go green if you lived near the beach.
OFC changes impedance, impedance sets tone against the mosfets and changes the mosfet tone, and on the way to speaker some other things change with OFC, depending on solid or fiber, the big trick now is to add odd chemicals to the wire to just slightly increase resistance AND CHANGE THE TONE
When we saw a person was tone deft at my store we sold them the big expensive stuff cause the sweet stuff made no sense to them.
same with wire, needles. and you just hurt feeling if you shove it home.
I heard a 3 FT $1500.00 Cardas RCA inter connect on a Jeff Rowland amp to dyna audio's after a radio shack 2.99 RCA wire, and we all were ragging mad we could never afford that Cardas, I do have the 500.00 cardas wall power cord, and it lays back a brite nasty speaker cold on the ground, and that's connected to the amp.
most folks who really spend the time are shopping to compensate for there own hearing loss and gains somewhere in the game, however small., most folks hear about the same, sorta, but some are gifted listeners, others just want furniture.
Lower mid range is where the magic is for most and for many just lamp cord can get them there, if it go's flat replace it once a year, as the oxygen in the copper will decay it.
Madisound has a tin plated OFC that folks rave about cause OFC is brite as sunlite and often needs slowing down on a good speaker.
tin is a grand but slow conductor, and just like steel wire, if your ears are good you will hear the sound of tin, which some speakers need.
Another way to slow OFC is to braid the heck out of it, but the current flow between a zillion copper fibers causes real BLURRRRRRRRR
I like to play all my disc's, so i use a pre amp with treble and bass knobs, brite comes too easy for me, I will leave a room to flee it and the facts are these, no matter what anyone tells you, all CD music comes from a little 1 inch by 1 inch chip, burr/brown chips are or where the best.
but all from one little chip. so you better get some light and color in your wire, speaker and ears, or its a grey world.
Also often how a CD turns out is unpredictable, you never even hear the producer, it got lost somewhere, Every man deserves to have a stereo he loves, at age 30, a lobe of the brain that loves music begins to get very large, most likely to make you listen to your wife.
often shrieking OFC wire is not helping, run non ofc to one side of your speaker, like the ground side, then OFC to the red side, give it a week,
you may hear a beautiful woman call your name faster on your system Lol.
For the record, i have been out of the business for 30 years, i try so hard now to just like what i have
