This is one of the reasons to check out your local used Vinyl store!!!
Even if I don't like the music .......I still love looking at all the great artwork that goes into the album design!!!!

KEEP THEM COMMING!!!

Perhaps one of the most iconic and darkly ironic cover & album titles ever, however the music needs no introduction. I wonder how many under 40 even know the story behind it.

[cornemuse]

Originally this was gonna be the back/flip side of the album. Janis Joplin, after seeing it, absolutely insisted it be the front & got her way!

I love the Thin Lizzy album covers, these were created by Jim Fitzpatrick an Irish artist. His style is one of a "Celtic" style which made its way onto some lizzy covers

Ship Arriving Too Late To Save a Drowning Witch-Frank Zappa

Forgive me if it's a repeat. New around here.

[wiryclock]

Nirvana: Nevermind (1991)

I don't have a thumbnail but the Allen Parsons Project's EVE has a great cover. I'd seen it a dozen times and didn't see it until a friend pointed it out.

All that glitters.....

The gatefold edition reveals that it's a map (I think). Took someone a longtime time to put it all together.
