A month ago I purchased the just released MX120 A/V Controller from McIntosh. Well now I'm hearing about the HDMI 1.3 connection for improved audio & video. The MX120 has HDMI but not the 1.3 version. So what am I going to do? I just invested (hopefully not wasted) almost $7,000 on the MX120 and now I see HDMI 1.3 coming along. I'll bet that there is no way to upgrade the MX 120 to make it capable of the improvements offered by HDMI 1.3. So I'm left with having to sell the 120 at a considerable loss in order to get the HDMI 1.3 capability in a new (hopefully McIntosh) unit. This possibility is not making me happy and is hurting my ability to remain a dedicated McIntosh customer. Does anyone have any other ideas for me? Does anyone know if MAC will offer an upgrade path for the 120? Please help.
