The cartridge is a Pickering 380. Garage a Records has
Genuine Pickering replacement styli, not knockoffs.

Have you tried to adjust the support spring?
Most of the ones I have seen have a screw underneath to
adjust the tension.

NYListens hit the nail on the head with his suggestion to look at Rockler's. This looks pretty close to what we're looking for (toy box lid...I guess they're kind of toy boxes...):

As for manuals.....Try Rick @ Stereomanuals.com. I just got one for my E-490-P with the 49-T/49-A Tuner and amp. Had it in my grubby paws 48 hours after I ordered it. Absolutely perfect. They repro'ed it on 11x14" heavy paper and Cardstock.
