Wow, that's clean! Does it go fast? :D :naughty: I'd find some nice 18" AMG wheels for that car. That big car makes those 16"(?) look a bit small. How big is it compared to say, a Cadillac STS? I like it, the engine compartment is a masterpiece.

Congratulations, it looks nice!
Silver is the right color for Mercedes......

All you need now is the right wheels on it....................

"Oh, Lord, woncha buy me a Mercedes-Benz ?...." (grin) Find you a good mechainc who can speak German to it, & you'll have a long, happy life w/it...I'm very religious about FREQUENT oil changes-Never more than every 5K, try to do it about 3500 or so...

I have an S500 also. My mechanic is a Polish guy who worked for MB in Poland.
My S500 runs on synthetic, 8 quarts of Mobile 1. 0-60 5.5-6 sec, 1/4 in the high 13's, top speed 155mph(computer limited), deprogrammed 175mph. Not bad for a 2 ton car(S600).

My dad had a '72 280 SEL 4.5, that car would FLY. Ran best from 90-115, he never really did find out how fast it would go, but I was in it w/him at 140, & it still had some left. He made it home from Richmond, Virginia, 375 miles in 4.5 hours one time, outrunning a snowstorm. He said that every time he heard the word "Snow" on the radio that morning, he'd go another 10 MPH faster...

Still would like to have me a 600 Pullman...Those cars have never really been equalled, even with all the V-12s, Maybachs, Silver Spirits, etc, etc...I WOULD accept the "Shorty" version, grudgingly, but I'd do it...(grin)

I'd love to pick up a 300SEL 6.3. High class super sleeper factory hot rod. :thmbsp:

The S600 looks super nice!
