My Pioneers...

Pretty similar to my bedroom system. I'm running a SA-6800, TX-6800 and CT-F900 in my bedroom system.

I see you run an SA-5800. Nice little integrated. I have one currently in storage. It has had all the electrolytics replaced in it because I found one of the big PS caps had leaked.

Are you shooting for the ultimate Fluoroscan collection?
This is just my bedroom rig. This is my main one:

I posted the pic of the bedroom rig because Overundr1 wanted to see what a TX-6800 looked like.

:yes: It is the way to go....specifically Pioneer seperates!

Nice setup Bogframe. What speakers do you run with your amp?
An old pair of Fisher SM-330s until I can find a third pair of HPM-100s

Oh, the bedroom system pictured isn't mine. It belongs to Bogframe, although ill gladly accept bragging rights without hesitation...haha.

Bragging rights h*ll, I'd love your two amps!

Pretty friggin' sweet main system bogframe.

Someday there will be a RTR in my system even if it's just to look at (yea right).

All I need is a SA-9800 and I'll be happy! But I do have a SX-3900, suppose I could sit it on top of the rack.

I have an RT-707 in my storage I'd trade for 20 lbs of lobstah and a few cases of Moxie the next time I'm downeast.

Floroscan is the bomb:D:banana: Sound great and sexy in the audio kind of way. Over forty years old and still glowing!!!! What else can I say, Enjoy:music:

What is it about the Fluoroscan that makes people fall in love? Maybe I'll start a poll on this subject.

I wonder what would happen if Pioneer came out with a new, even sexier if possible) line of Fluoroscan equipment?

You guys have some sweet setups. I, so far only have 2 Flouroscan systems with my SX-3700 (the first) and a TX-6800 and SA-6800 from a member here. I love looking at these things in service:drool:

Sweet system Bogframe! That RTR looks awesome!

Agreed, Fluoroscan is da bomb. SOmething about those blue lights dancing to the music in a dark room...very classy and sexy in an audio systemish kinda way.

RT-909, CT-F1250, SG-9800, and either a PL-630 or PL-L1000 ought to do it!

Tarl Of God,
I do have an SG-9800 in my parents garage. Ive been looking around for an RT-909, but theyre so freggin expensive! Hard to justify so much money for a unit which I will probably use only for the fluoroscan lghts

looks great - u have too many tuners tho so better send me one
LOL...true! I have my TX-6800 for the few occasions when I do listen to FM. The other tuners are pretty much up there just for the cool lights.

Its definitely a combination of the blue lights dancing with the music in a dimly lit room and the silver face surrounding it! Im sure a new more modern fluoroscan would appeal to a lot of buyers...it would to me!

Thanks kermit z.
Youve had a pretty good start to your fluoroscan collection as well!

Anyone else want to show off their fluoroscan setups? Maybe this can become the official Fluoroscan thread...like the SPEC and Series 20 threads? Echowars?

Its been a while since Ive been on the forums...lots of life changes taken place over the last 2 years. One of which is that I moved to a bigger city, but a smaller place, and dont have room for my Pioneer rig anymore.

Its away in storage, and I miss it so much that I thought Id log in and check out the pictures I posted here.

Good to see the forum is still going great! Cheers!

Here's an update on my Pioneer collection.

Its filling up the room...the madness has to stop!

Thats a terrific system you have there!! Ive been trying to get hold of a TX-9800 for a while now, but have had to settle for the TX-7800 for now.

The rack is an imitation that I saw at a friends place. He has the original and its manufactured by this Canadian company called Audiosonic. They call is the Audiosonic slant rack.

Theres a similar one made by Plateau. I believe the model is a Z5A or Z5B, but that rack only comes in black. The cherry finish on mine closely matches the wooden sides of my Pioneer units.

Thanks for the info:thmbsp: I forgot to add my SX D7000 & SX D5000 to the list:D They have been out of rotation due to lack of space ( That's why I asked about your rack)
