Based on the appearance of the TT, I would say it's solid state. Just a guess based on the looks. I don't really know what TT that is but the square angles on everything make it look like a more recent model.

I agree with Tox. That TT looks like a cheap Garrard/BSR knockoff and the "early American" styling screams mid to late 60s.
