these look sweet with that cherry wood, but the number of speakers makes me think these are the finest looking white van pieces ever.

They team them up with "name brand" basic stereos that they've picked up somewhere and try to pass off the whole system as something nice. Crap speakers and butt freaking ugly to boot.

Yep, seen those elsewhere. They are typically veneered with the same quality vinyl wood as an 80's OldsmoBuick dashboard with a smattering of mouse-fur on the edges and sides. Just lovely.

Were the stuff anywhere close to the quality of Tolex I might have to find a little respect for them. However, this material is closer to cheap wall-to-wall carpeting than to anything that ever covered a Fender amp.

Like everyone said.. Techwood... sold at Rent-to-Own and other ripoff rental centers.. for a stupid amount of money...

There is a Techwood system in this area on CL right now.. the guy is wanting $450... and I'm sure he's losing way over twice that...

yeah I agree with the popping part, one CL ad said " I done blowed up some of the subs but mabe u can have some nice speakers with some work" Can't make this stuff up.

That crap ain't Tolex, it's bottom of the barrel fuzzy grey auto carpeting. FYI, the same speakerswere discussed here recently.
