I am sure you would get better result if you post pictures of your turntable with serial number and a story how you got it and what is a problem with your table first. If you are true owner of this table and need help, I am sure you can get it. But if you (new member) simply ask "send me manual" it does not sounds good especially for this particular table

There is no full TX-1000 service manual in net

Ya there is no full document only one PCB is diagram is there
So do your home work - pictures and story first

Yes, the moral of the story is - I do not want to share this manual with all who ask. Because it was not simple to get it. If you can prove you are owner of this table and this is your restoration project, I could help. For free, of course. Because it is unique table, and there are not many around. Otherwise I am not interested, please understand. So post here pictures and story

Here is my Story.
I brought this TX-1000 from Ebay last month and trying to fix the issues with it.
As of now it doesn't run.
i have done recapping power supply PS-1000 and tested it a bit.
After that i connected to TX-1000 and tried to power it up but it goes to standby mode immediately.
So when i opened the back door i found lot of corrosion due to leaking battery.
Battery is a 3.6V 50mah Ni-cad rechargeable battery. i am not sure why this thing needs it as the main chip NEC uPD8049c-231 is using masking ROM with all the code in it.

IIRC it stores dynamic states in memory - if the sensor arm is up and out or in stylus service mode, if the platter is in release mode, etc. When I first got mine years ago I somehow managed to get it stuck in an odd state that locked it up. I briefly shorted the battery to clear the memory and it returned to normal. It will not operate with a dead or discharged battery.
Thankfully mine is 100% functional, though some day I will go through it all as a preventative measure. That's been on the back burner as creating schematics is thus far part of the task.

I used and tested several arms on several tables, before decided to stay with Eminent technology 2.5 on Nakamichi Dragon-CT. 12" arms was good, with less possible error, but anyway ET (with oilless shop compressor with 40L tank and high pressure manifold) is the best. However I do not know how it works with light carbon wands and high compliance cartridges. But with heavy magnesium arm and low compliance MC, like Ortofon MC5000 it is the best for me. And on TX-1000 (stays on shelf about 20years because I use Dragon) after repairing, one one arm will be linear.

Maybe it's the new owner who won the TX 1000 auction just a few days ago on Yahoo JP and it was buy as junk.
