BTW, my 1st suggestion to MusicDirect was to get the Sumiko Blackbird ($875) but he said the Dyna is a real great combo with the VPI (and at 1/2 the price).

I've set up the Scouts with the Dynas and the Ace....
No contest.
But, if you are a careful sort the Glider is even better, and the Wood is sublime...but the wood is $1145 trading in any kind of cartridge, and the Glider is $825 with any trade...while the Blackbird is wonderful, the Glider is more so...the Ace at $569 with trade, though, is really a slam dunk bargain for the price and makes a similar priced Grado Sonata sound ill...
I guess you could say I'm a big fan of the Benz cartridges...I love it when I install my Wood H2O on my Linn...every time I do that it becomes one of those "oh wow!!!" sessions, I just take it off to preserve it and keep it alive a bit longer...I also get much better figures on our Signet cartridge alignment and setup device with them than just about any other carts...and, with the unipivot VPI arms you can really dial in the exact azimuth...I like that arm.
