First guess, Dolby switch is dirty.

It was a 220uf capacitors that had the wrong polarity on the silk screen I installed it and it went PoP! But didn’t notice it took out a resistor with it too!

That’s the buffer amp board. Been there and done that exact same thing. Sorry you had to learn the hard way as well.

Nice to have a thread like this. I learned from MBuras' experience that he reported in a thread and it kept me from repeating the error when I refurbished my 2325. It is definitely a misleading silkscreen.

this is why I mark my caps before I rip them out. I've seen the silk screen mismarked too many times
