For the bias pots, given the wide spacing of the legs, I soldered on "leg extensions" from capacitor cutoffs. Worked well.

Yes, thanks. I did this on my Eight. It was the 3386(?) style of trimmer that you helped me pick out. I really struggled with getting a solid joint on the extension. The joints seemed to line up right at the through hole and my extensions kept melting off. I got it eventually and the Eight sounds great. Maybe I'll give this a try again as my skills have improved, and your pictures are super helpful. Thanks, Keith!

Yes, I'm going to do the Baxendall mod here and I do have the 500s in stock. Plan to confirm my cap inventory tonight and finish up my Mouser cart.
