New to me Marantz 2275 (with issues)

Ok I have the amp boards swapped. So right amp that I just recapped is on left side ( working perfect. Left amp on right side still nothing ! It is the preamp !!!

You really shouldn't have to swap the amp boards. That is a valid test, but the RCA swap is easier and tells you if it is preamp or amp.

Ok I have the amp boards swapped. So right amp that I just recapped is on left side ( working perfect which normally doesnt work on its correct right side) Left amp on right side still nothing which usually works perfectly on its correct left side) It is the preamp !!!

Lol. So we are back to where we were last night. Need some signal tracing to see your signal going into preamp left and right and leaving preamp left and right.
 
To do that without scope and signal generator, you need an audio signal generator app on your phone, cables that will connect your phone to left and right Aux inputs, and a DMM.

Ok.. this things really starting to piss me off lol. Recapped and put new transistors etc on tone / preamp board

ok bad with good news ! Both channels are back and sound AMAZING ! Recapped the entire tone / preamp board. Stupid headphone jack had the wire unplugged which was causing a short and no right channel after all that !! Now I need to tackle the FM. All static across the entire dial.. what gives ? Im getting 13V DC at J806 and at J104 that goes into the Front end. AM works perfect as do all the othet outputs. I want to thank everyone as well along this journey !

Hopefully @catrafter will see this and give you some guidance. He is the resident "No FM" guru. In the mean time, make sure you are getting power to the P300 board when in FM mode. Looks like the main power there is 13.4V at J306.

Thank you, youve offered an immense amount of help. Im glad I was able to tackle this as my first time ever working on a unit like this due to your help and audiokarma. Thanks again.. will check out that link in a bit and report back

Ok so I took an RCA to 3.5mm plugged it into FM quad jack and Left TAPE 1 monitor in and it works.. now what does this mean essentially in regards to my FM Tuning problem ?
 
I’ll bet @catrafter will see this and chime in. This area is not my forte, but it seems you are good through the IF amp if you are getting signal at your Quad jack. If so, the problem probably lies in your muting circuit or FM multiplex circuit - which is basically on the big chip, H321. Have you checked to make sure the Attenuator switch on the back is in the Out position? Do you have an antenna attached?

Antenna is attached. Man I hope its not the chip.. lol .. there is no attentuator switch on the back of this model. Just an FM muting adjustment dial.

The 35V is not the DC Offset. That is the power supply output voltage. DC Offset is measured at the speaker terminals once you get the amps working properly. The other important power supply voltage is 13.4V DC at J806. That powers the tuners and other boards.

I have similar problem after recap Dolby Amp(PC010,FM IF AMP(P200),Am tuner (P150) 21V at J806, Minimum 41v at J804,805 Please help..........
