NOS 7591 tubes with glass removed, $50 @

Then when it's time to rock the house, you connect the iPod, don the ACES suits, equalize the cabin to deep space vacuum levels, BREAK THE GLASS and CRANK THE TUNES.
Imagine the entire cabin getting enveloped in that gorgeous blue glow...

I'd put the amps on the outside of the cabin, next to a window. Constant vacuum, and the window lets you view the blue glow. The amp better not expect convection cooling, though!

Put it on the dark side (away from the sun) too.

In the dark of space, there's no need for convection cooling. In fact, since the "native" temperature of space is something near absolute zero (-273 Centigrade) you'll get cryo treatment cooling every time you turn them off! :D

I have a Mullard 5ar4 in the same condition. To bad I threw it away, he may have been interested in it. NOS, slight drop to the floor problem!:D

No, you see you transport the tubes TO the ISS with the envelopes in place (to mitigate the aforementioned O2 dissolution)

You better be using some cool headphones or ear buds as sound does not travel so well in a vacuum. Gonna have a little trouble with the soundstaging.
