I've talked to John Strohbeen on and off since the early 80s.
I learned a lot from the gentleman...
I'm not one that's into that phony dress for success stuff.

Yes, it's a smaller company today, but at least it's around to service our vintage speakers and produce new
ones still built here in the USA.

Other vintage speaker brands have gone out of business or sold out to conglomerates that sent production to China.

Im a happy owner Of a set of OHM F's and OHM I's.... I have zero issues with those speakers whatsoever....Just wouldnt let the current company touch my speakers in any way....That said im happy with utilizing people who support specific speaker brands...

Richard So - ADS
Falcon Acoustics - KEF
BOB Crites - Klipsch
etc...

I've read personal attacks aimed at John S. on another thread.

I started this thread for information for Ohm owners.

I'll let moderators decide what the limits are.

Let no good deed go unpunished.

Nice of you to go to the effort of posting this.
I still have my C2’s and booklet purchased at Apple Tree Stereo in Rockford, Illinois.

I don't own any Ohms, have never listened to any and probably never will.
But I APPRECIATE you taking the time to scan and post that info. That's part of what AK is all about, sharing info with like minded folk.
Chances are pretty good this thread might help someone in the future.

@odcics2 they are my rock out go to speakers. Think of maxell guy sitting in chair and being blown away. Very detailed highs and lows. Just start at feeding them 200wpc and keep going with more power.

I started out running them with 2 Luxman m-117 and preferred the 2 bryston 7b’s which put out 800wpc @ 4 ohms. At 200wpc the speakers just laugh at their owner.

that said for normal listening levels I still prefer my F’s.
