Ohighway...it's Apple's business model and somehow they are highly profitable ........ somehow it works for them and they somehow retain the ability to market themselves as hip and progressive while they take advantage of their customers.

Yeah I hear you. I think it's called being 'duped'. Says a lot about the vendor -and- the customer. I thought good business was about providing value for money. If you have to resort to gouging your own customer base to stay afloat, what does that say about you and your product? :thumbsdn:
I really despise that form of marketing. It shows a lack of respect for the customer who, after all, is the one forking out the money. Jeez, makes you wonder what will be next. Electronics manufacturers removing numbers from transistors and ICs so the customer has to pay them $35. for a commonly available $0.25 IC? Oh .... wait.... WHAT ???
