I think you learned an important lesson - never say anything bad about Schiit on an internet forum. Regardless of your first hand experience with multiple products, you don't like them so you're WRONG. Note I've owned two different Modis and a Bifrost MB and hated all of them, so you're not alone.
Sure... well I didn't say I didn't like them, but that's beside the point.
Personally I think it's more the flavor of the day.
Instead of having a civil discussion, they just choose to trash the poster.
And then on top of that they think it's some sort of contest on who wins or loses?!?
Weird... sad to say, I think those people need some professional therapy...
There's some good theories in what Schitt is doing, i'm just wondering if it couldn't be implemented better somehow?!
I mean you look at the advances in Audio sometimes things that come out right away particularly the CD didn't sound very good right away to a lot of people
That's not so much the case now..
Maybe it's not their preferred method of listening, but it's much better than when it first came out particularly on how things were recorded.
In my opinion, the equipment is a means to an end.
It's really not that important as long as it's doing what you want it to do, who really cares what the name on it is?
Or how it does it?
As mentioned, having a close mind seems to be a flavor of the day.
It's amazing how many people carry themselves that way with pride.
And at the same time criticizing, and trashing people for questioning things, that either are not really important , or need to be questioned.
I guess I'm just the complete opposite, I enjoy other people's opinions on how they look at things.
I don't enjoy being attacked personally, but I consider the source...
Most of those people have a hard time differentiating between opinions and facts.
In my opinion, we still would be back in the caveman days if people didn't question things, and want something better.
I guess if it was me, I would look at myself and wonder why I continually attacked people personally that didn't agree with me... instead of willing to have a interesting discussion and debate.
You don't convince anyone that your opinions are accurate, when you attacked them personally, it usually shuts them down.
That's one thing I continually try to work on, still carrying on a discussion with people that continue to do that.
I must admit I've had mixed results, and no doubt need to improve in that area.
