Oppo BDP-10x & Tidal

With the latest firmware update for the Oppo BDP 103 & 105, Tidal music streaming is enabled on the device. The Media Control app for the iPhone & iPad is really sweet. Any other Oppo owners using Tidal enjoying this?

Interesting. I just checked - this currently is Beta software available from the Oppo web site, not GA software available from the player's menu.

This IMO is an example of Oppo's great support - i.e., a new feature available at no additional fee.

Unfortunately I don't have a smartphone, so I don't think I'll be able to try it.

Please share your experience.

Yes, the firmware update is Beta vs, GA
Also, you do need an iPhone/Ipad, Andriod or Amazon Media Control app to control Tidal currently, as opposed to just controlling it with your remote & TV screen

It's taken Tidal to a new level now that's its divorced from my Sonos connect, if they can just get Deezer Elite it will be prefect and any thoughts of upgrading my Sonos will be gone and the Sonos will be for sale.

Tidal's audio quality was always damn good but now playing from my Oppo 105D I sense a definite step up.

I see a BDP103 for me in the very near future because of this! I have been thinking about switching from Spotify to Tidal but this will seal the deal for me!

I was close to canceling my Tidal subscription before this functionality was added to the Oppo..not anymore. They did a really nice job with this integration.
